There are several kinds of scholarships you can apply for if you’re interested in studying at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Your academic, sporting, cultural, or entrepreneurial talent can help you obtain support for your studies.
There are 7 kinds of scholarships that you can apply for under the following headings: academic, athletic, artistic, leadership, and entrepreneurship, as well as the socioeconomic scholarship and the Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship.
CONECTA gives you the following information on these scholarships for studying a professional degree course:
1.- Scholarship for Academic Talent
This scholarship recognizes students with extraordinary academic performance, regardless of their financial situation or nationality.
The scholarship can cover 40 to 70 percent of the tuition fees for a professional degree course and can be topped up with a 20-percent student loan.
Main requirements:
- Have a grade point average equal to or higher than 90 at high school.
- Score at least 1,360 points on the Academic Aptitude Test (AAT).
- Have been accepted on a professional degree course/program at the Tec.
- Complete the application to be considered for the scholarship.

2.- Scholarship for Athletic Talent
This scholarship is focused on young people who stand out in a sporting area, who must undergo a selection process including tryouts in their area.
Some of the sports this scholarship includes are basketball, soccer, flag football, tennis, athletics, swimming, chess, and climbing.
The availability and percentage of this scholarship depends on the Tec de Monterrey campus to which candidates apply.
Main requirements:
- Complete the application to be considered for the scholarship.
- Prepare a PDF file and a chronological video about your sporting career.
- Attend and complete the sports tryouts. You can check dates for the different campuses here.
- Have been accepted on any professional degree course/program at the Tec.

3.- Scholarship for Artistic Talent
This scholarship is focused on outstanding young people in any artistic area, who must undergo an audition process.
If you have experience in acting, music, singing, dance, or musical theater, this scholarship may interest you.
The availability and percentage of this scholarship depends on the Tec de Monterrey campus you wish to apply to.
Main requirements:
- Complete your application to be considered for the scholarship.
- Prepare a PDF file and a specially made video for this call about your artistic career.
- Attend and complete the auditions. You can check the dates for each campus here (in spanish).
- Have been accepted on any professional degree course/program at the Tec.

4.- Scholarship for Leadership Talent
This scholarship is aimed at outstanding young people in any area of leadership such as debates, oratory, being an opinion leader, or robotics.
The availability and percentage of this scholarship depends on the Tec de Monterrey campus to which candidates apply.
Main requirements:
- Complete your application to be considered for the scholarship.
- Prepare a PDF file and a specially made video for this call in which you demonstrate your abilities for the chosen discipline.
- Complete an online test.
- Have been accepted on any professional degree course/program at the Tec.

5.- Scholarship for Entrepreneurial Talent
This is aimed at young first-year undergraduates with an entrepreneurial profile and innovative projects for the benefit of society.
This scholarship awards 70 percent of tuition fees and can be topped up with up with a 20-percent student loan.
It includes the support of a mentor from the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Institute of Entrepreneurship, who accompanies students during their professional training.
Main requirements:
- Having begun your admission process for any professional area of study.
- Have an entrepreneurial project with at least a prototype of a product or service (not at the idea stage).
- The project must show progress in validation with possible customers or users.
- It must focus on solving a problem with the potential to transform the community, the country, or the world.

6.- Socioeconomic Scholarship
This scholarship is aimed at both first-year and current students who need support to cover payment of their tuition fees.
This is an option that gives a percentage of scholarship combined with a student loan or just a student loan to be paid after graduation.
Main requirements for the scholarship:
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Grade point average equal to or greater than 85.
- Score at least 1,300 points on the Academic Aptitude Test (AAT).
Main requirements for the student loan:
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Hold Mexican nationality.
- Have a joint obligor (similar to a guarantor).

7.- Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for outstanding and talented young people whose socioeconomic status requires one hundred percent support in tuition fees for a professional degree course or program.
This is not a student loan, and there is an annual call nationwide.
Main requirements:
- Be a first-year student.
- Present evidence of economic or social status that requires a 100% scholarship.
- Have a grade point average equal to or greater than 90 throughout high school.
- Score 1,360 points or more on the Academic Aptitude Test (AAT).
- Be enterprising and have initiatives and ideals for a better Mexico, which have been put into practice in a community development project of some kind.

Other support
There are also other forms of financial support offered by Tec de Monterrey and other organizations.
For instance, this support could take the form of educational credits or certificates for tuition fees that can be acquired at current prices and used later.
