The central theme of the 2024 Tec de Monterrey National Teacher’ Meeting and the PrepaTec National Meeting was artificial intelligence in education.

Tec de Monterrey is in 185th place among the top universities in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings 2025.

David Garza, Rector and Executive President of the Tec, announced his chairship of the Universitas 21 network from May 2025 during the U21 Annual Network Meeting and Presidential Symposium.

The rectors of Tec de Monterrey and UNAM shared achievements and challenges more than two years after forming their alliance, which already includes the participation of more than 60 researchers from both institutions. It also now includes allies such as FEMSA, CEMEX, and BBVA.

David Garza, Rector and Executive President of the Tec, took part in the 14th “Reinventing Higher Education” forum organized by IE University and the University of Miami, at which presidents, rectors, vice-chancellors, and experts from 40 universities analyzed the challenges of higher education.
