The Tec has added 5 more subjects compared to last year in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024
Tecnológico de Monterrey stands out in 28 of 55 subject areas ranked in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024.
According to these rankings, the subjects in which Tec de Monterrey is among the top 50 universities in the world are Marketing (20th place); Business & Management Studies (23rd place); and Art and Design (50th place).
In this edition of the global rankings, the institution had 5 more subjects than last year; in total, 9 Tec subjects are in the global Top 100.
In Mexico, the Tec holds 1st place for 8 subjects, and for 3 in Latin America, respectively.
Outstanding subjects at the Tec
Juan Pablo Murra, Rector for Higher Education at the Tec, highlighted the efforts of National Schools to prioritize the continuous updating of their syllabuses and the strengthening of teaching practice.
“The positive results shown by these rankings are a consequence of the great work and commitment of our deans, their teams, and all of our faculty,” said Murra.
Similarly, he highlighted the Tec’s commitment to creating a research, innovation, and learning community, as well as carrying out high-impact research that helps create value for society via its schools and institutes.

The rankings also show that the Tec holds first place in 8 subjects in Mexico, one more than last year.

This rankings list has been prepared since 2011, and is one of those produced by British evaluation firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), such as the QS World University Rankings, QS Best Student Cities, and other regional rankings that evaluate educational institutions around the world.
