Orion Technology Park has celebrated its 15th anniversary with a business event, bringing together companies from the community with the aim of fostering strategic alliances and establishing new business contacts.
Chihuahua Campus director Armando Bahena Vigna and Orion Park director Claudia Ortega Fierro were present at the event.
“We’re not just celebrating 15 years of growth of the park itself, but also the positive impact it’s had on the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Armando Bahena.
Claudia Ortega described the Orion Park tour as exciting and expressed her commitment to continuing to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among the community.
“It’s been an exciting journey, and we hope to continue being a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship in our community,” said Claudia Ortega.
Technological innovation panel at Orion Park
The events began with a panel in which Orion Park incubation program entrepreneurs shared their vision about the past, present, and future of technological innovation.
Moderated by Odille Sánchez, National Leader of Technology Entrepreneurship, this panel offered valuable insight to the audience.
“The exchange of ideas and experiences between entrepreneurs is essential to driving technological innovation,” Odille shared with CONECTA.
Highlights from the commemorative event
The commemorative event kicked off with welcome speeches from Claudia Ortega, Armando Bahena, and Luis Almanza, Regional Director for Entrepreneurship.
The talk “Irreplaceable: How to Survive the AI Revolution” given by Ulrick Noel, National Director of the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Institute of Entrepreneurship, provided information on current matters.
“In a time of exponential change, it’s crucial to understand how AI is transforming our business world with strategies to adapt and thrive amid this technological revolution,” Ulrick shared during his talk.

A moment was dedicated to honoring Dr. Antonio Ríos, who played a prominent role in the history of the Tec’s entrepreneurship park, for his contribution to the community’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
"The legacy of Dr. Ríos goes beyond the physical creation of the Park; his vision and passion have left an indelible mark on the entrepreneurial community of Chihuahua," commented Luis Almanza.
Networking at Tec’s Orion Park
The event culminated with a networking session, during which participants exchanged entrepreneurship stories and continued the conversations and connections initiated during the event.
“Everything the park can offer is aimed at making society better and continuing to improve its quality of life,” concluded Raul Lizarrarás, Entrepreneurship Leader at the Chihuahua campus.
