If you’re interested in studying for a professional degree, Tecnológico de Monterrey has options in six areas of study.
Engineering, Business, Health, Built Environment, Creative Studies, and Social Sciences.
At CONECTA, we can tell you about these areas and the professional degree courses you can take at the Tec.
TEC21 EDUCATIONAL MODEL
The Tec has an educational model called TEC21, which is divided into 3 stages. This means you don’t start a degree course from the beginning, but one of the six areas of study.
- In the first stage, that of Exploration, you take subjects and blocks with challenges from your chosen area of study.
- In the second, called Focus, you decide on the degree course you want to study.
- Finally, in the Specialization stage, there are specific activities according to your future interests and plans.
All professional programs of study include challenges at organizations and companies from the real world, as well as greater flexibility as to how, when, and where you learn.
“Students have to decide whether they will be architects, doctors, or engineers. Now, this model allows you to choose your own path,” said Roberto Iñiguez, Dean at the Tec.
