Tec de Monterrey has commemorated its first day of classes with a dramatic performance and the unveiling of a plaque in the place where the large colonial house once stood in the center of Monterrey.

For the second year, Tec de Monterrey members of staff are participating in the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Egypt to present the institution’s actions to tackle global warming.

Inés Sáenz, Vice President for Inclusion, Social Impact, and Sustainability at Mexican university Tec de Monterrey, shared the institution’s sustainable efforts on the panel Together in the Decade of Delivery at the Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.

There are 24 Mexicans, several of them graduated from Tec, who worked in the movie "Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse", favorite in the category of Best Animated Film for the Oscars.
